In the presented series, I explore the concept of home as both a physical structure and a metaphor. The cycle reflects on transformations in our environment—both those we influence and those beyond our control. Through architectural forms and their transformations, I portray a dynamic environment shaped by the richness of human emotions, experiences, and interactions. The transformations of homes refer to the theory of the nature of reality, according to which the world around us is a replicated and altered reflection of a single place—a product of our imagination. This subjective vision collides with the deterministic concept of the Chinese Temple of Heaven—a place full of symbolism and hidden meanings, built on the philosophy that the universe is a pre-programmed algorithm. The multidimensional reflections of external and internal spaces create a kind of “simulation” of reality that is constantly changing. In the paintings, human will and agency intertwine with a sense of helplessness in the face of the complexity of the world.
